Tom Griffin – Passing of a great man

Its with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of our friend and club President Mr. Tom Griffin early Friday morning.

It was thanks to Tom who as a founding member of the club that we have this great club today. Even though Tom had moved to Dublin a number of years ago and had in more recent times been battling illness he continued to remain actively involved, always interested in the latest from the club. Its true to say that he never lost his love and pride for Bandon AFC.

We extend our deepest sympathies and thoughts to Tom’s family and friends.

R.I.P. Tom, you’ll remain forever in our memories.
