Game was played at an excellent tempo with rock mount strongest in first 20 minutes and took the lead with a back post header. This kicked Bandon into gear and from this point Bandon had two great chances from Brendan Cullen which brought out two great saves , before Sean Lordan slipped the ball into the back of the net from a good move by Bandon. Then the incident that changed the game a dubious red card for bandon player for a kick out after being stamped, no action against the rock mount player and then the challenge was put up! Bandon kept it tight for 20 minutes but Rockmount's pressure prevailed with a second on 68 mins and the third from penalty spot , top form for Bandon was captain Sean Holland, disappointing result but still competing on two fronts, the push for promotion and in the last 16 of Pop Keller Cup!

Seniors vs Tramore Athletic Jan 7th 2012
Bandon took on Tramore Ath. in this Munster Senior League Div. 1 game on Jan 7th. With a convincing 6-0 victory the home side kept up the pressure in their bid for promotion to the Premier division. Photos thanks to Denis Harrington.
Seniors vs Ringmahon Keane Cup QF Oct 15th 2011
Bandon took on Ringmahon last May in the final of the Pop Keller cup with the city side winning 0-1. When they met in Bandon on Oct 15th in the Keane cup q/final the home side made no mistake, taking the lead inside 10 minutes and going on to win 3-1.
Seniors vs Blarney FAI Intermediate Cup Oct 8th 2011
The Seniors took on Blarney on Oct 8th in the Town Park in the F.A.I. Intermediate cup. Bandon took the lead twice only to see Blarney draw level to take the game to extra time. Premier table toppers Blarney eventually ran out 2-4 winners. Photos thanks to Dinny Harrington.
Seniors vs Midleton 3rd Sept 2011
The Seniors took on a Midleton side, who had been beaten 2-0 by Cork City in the 3rd rd. of the F.A.I. cup only a few weeks previous, in the final group game in the Keane Cup knowing they had to win to progress to the quarter finals. The game was played on Sept. 3rd with Bandon winning 5 - 0. Photos thanks to Denis Harrington.
