Rules
Players must be 18 years old on the 6th July
Playing an illegal player (underage/senior or otherwise) will result in points deduction.
12 Adult players on a squad. (can bring in additional players during competition if players are unable to attend but not players that have played for another team in the competition. If your team reaches a final, you can only use players that have played for you during the competition).
No Munster Senior League Senior Players or higher level permitted to play.
Only 3 Bandon AFC Junior Players permitted to play on one particular squad (Remember it’s a FUN tournament)
7 a side.
Subs roll on/roll off.
Matches are 15 minutes straight, no H/T.
No sliding tackles.
No penalties (indirect free kick for fouls committed in or around the penalty area)
No offside rule
No abusing the referees (Remember this is a fun tournament). If a player continues to abuse a referee, the referee will ask the player to leave for the rest of that particular game but a sub can be brought on.
Pitch – 18 yard line to 18 yard line on bottom or 3rd pitch. Width will be brought in.
Normal sized goals.
We really want this year to be a FUN and enjoyable event for people.Just follow the rules and all will be great. Let’s not take it too seriously. Therefore we’re encouraging teams to have one of their players in fancy dress during the matches. There will be a prize at the end of the tournament for the best dressed 😊
Also, if your team gets to a final, have a mascot for the photos to add to the craic
