Awards Night 2008

The annual club Awards Night took place last Thursday May 22nd night in The Munster Arms Hotel. The large crowd heard Mayor of Bandon, Mr. John Desmond, congratulate all the players and coaches for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. He also thanked the girls U-12 team for their invitation to join them on their recent trip to Germany. He presented coach Lynda Crowley with a certificate for the club to mark the occasion. The girls presented Mr. Desmond with a trophy later in the night as a momento of the weekend. Cork City’s Denis Behan attended on the night to present the winners with their trophies. Many of those present, both young and not so young,  got their photos taken with the Ford F.A.I. Cup which Denis brought with him on the night.
