The Under 12 Girls travelled to a very foggy Ballinhassig on Saturday with the Bandon team looking for their second win in division 2. Bandon started very well and kept Ballinhassig in their own half for long spells but were not able create any chances. Midway through the first half Ballinhassig broke from midfield and finished off a good move with Amy O’ Callaghan having no chance in the Bandon goal. The Bandon girls responded very well with shots from Siobhan Kelleher ,Katie Barr and Jolie McCabe . The breakthrough came with a well finished goal by Chloe Desmond after great work by Izzy Canniffe on the right wing. The second half started with Bandon pushing on for another goal but they were met with a very good Ballinhassig keeper who pulled off a string of fine saves to keep them in the match but Bandon were relentless and with two goals from. Izzy Canniffe Bandon finished well for a deserved win.
