Bandon 7-2 Killinardish Coachford

Bandon opened up their league campaign with a solid home performance against a tough Coachford 11. After an even opening exchange, Eoin Nolan was taken down as he was about to score and the ref pointed to the spot. Eoin Nolan put the ball in the net with a great shot. Bandon were two up when Captain Colm Dineen went by 3 players and shot to the corner giving the keeper no chance. Eoin Nolan then used his pace to slot in no 3. Jordan McCabe who was having a great game then scored Bandon’s 4th after half time to cancel out Coachfords goal before the break. Jordan McCabe then added his second when putting away a cross from Eoin Nolan. Bandon then brought on their subs who all played very well. One of these Shane Scanlon  scored a goal with a great shot from 23 yards out. Coachford then scored their second before Eoin Nolan completed his hat trick.

It was a good start to the league from Bandon and all the players played well. Best were Eoin Nolan, Jordan McCabe and Colm Dineen. James Kelleher, Eoin Hurley and John O Shea also played well.
