Bandon U12’s got back to winning ways with an emphatic 7-0 win away to
Leeds. An early goal from Tim Hegarty following some nice football and a
through ball from Ciaran Beecher set Bandon on their way. A second goal
followed from a carbon copy of a move only for the Leeds defender to
put through his own goal. Bandon were 2 up at half time and were
instructed to press on and finish the game in the second half. All
credit to the players they came out of the blocks quickly and 2 quick
goals from Lukas Salinonvicius and a solo effort from Ciaran Beecher put
the game out of sight. Bandon piled on the pressure and further goals
from Ciaran and Andrew lane unleashing his left foot (x2) wrapped up a
fine team performance away from home. A fine 30 mins off the bench from
Adrian Claesson who was deployed on the left wing secured him the motm
award.
Honourable mentions to our defensive players performance who secured their second clean sheet in 4 league games.
