Leeds 2-1 Bandon

13th October 2012

Today’s game saw both teams enter the fixture unbeaten, with Bandon on top with 10 pts from 4 games and Leeds 4 pts from 2 games. Leeds had the home advantage and it told in the end. Both start the game with great intensity and some good football was played with no real chances being created. But after 30 minutes a ball for from midfield saw Richard Holland sell a great dummy and move forward at pace into the final third and then find a pass centrally where midfielder Fer Harrington came onto the ball and burrows it into the bottom corner an it stayed 1-0 till half time.

The second half started with Leeds pushing hard and they got the reward web a good cross was slotted home for the equaliser. The game then saw both teams wasted scoring opportunities but neither taking until Leeds took the lead from a free Kick and this was really against the run of things but Bandon pressed on and were unlucky on two occasions not to add an equaliser but it was not to be and Leeds to all three points.
