Richard Holland new Senior Manager

We are delighted to formally announce the appointment of Richard Holland as manager to the Bandon Senior men’s team.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing manager Peter Jones for the hard work and commitment shown to the club over the past 3 seasons. In developing the team over that time, Peter oversaw the Senior’s winning the club’s first Senior league title, winning promotion back to the Premier and also the club beating a Dublin side for the first time in our history. Both great memories for all involved. The club would like to wish Peter every success for his future.

Richard has a been a long time dedicated member of the club from his beginnings with Schoolboys right up to Senior player, Captain and Assistant Manager to Peter Jones.
An experience football man, he is a holder of the UEFA B licence coaching badge and is pursuing his A licence. In addition to his experience and success with Bandon AFC, Richard’s background extends to having been a coach with the Cork City FC Women’s team who has also seen great success managing and coaching the Cork Schoolboy League representative teams over a number of years.

Richard will be joined by an experienced management team of Kieran Dunlea (pictured about with Richard), Eddie Andepu and Jim McCarthy.

The committee and members of Bandon AFC congratulate and welcome Richard to his new role. We wish him, his management team and all the players the very best of success for the coming season.
