This was Bandon’s first home CSL game of the season and they took the lead after 11 minutes with a clinical goal from Matthew Tracey. However the lead wasn’t to last long as shortly after Watergrasshill equalised with a shot from distance going over the Bandon keeper who had made many good saves on the day. Bandon went on to score 2 more from Keelan Crowley however it was not to be enough as Watergrasshill’s front men cut the Bandon defence apart to make it 3-7 on the day. Bandon had some more chances but could not convert. Best for Bandon were Dylan Wilmot and Diarmuid O’Driscoll.
