There was a frantic end to this game. Bandon U-14’s were disappointed to concede to Coachford in the last minute of the game, having just gone ahead a minute prior to that from a Dara Crowley effort. However, overall Bandon will view this game as point gained as they were on the back-foot
for a large part of the game. Even though Coachford dominated possession in the first half, the score was level, one a piece at half time. Coachford scored after 20 minutes but a great through ball from Iruka Nnamaeka was
finished well by Brian O Driscoll. Coachford again took the lead ten minutes in to the second half and Bandon again hit back with a well struck effort from Cian Barry.
Bandon will be pleased by their finishing on the day but will be hoping to learn to protect their lead especially when the game looked like it was in the bag.
