Bandon visited Blarney on Sunday in their 3rd last league game and maintained their top of the table position with a victory. Bandon played well on the plastic pitch and were ahead after 10 mins when Denzil Fernandez got on to a kick out from Ciaran McCarthy to score. After 20 mins Denzil again scored after a neat build up involving Joe Gibson. Bandon continued to make chances but went in at half time 2 up.
Bandon were caught cold after 2 mins of the restart when sloppy defending allowed Blarney to score. Bandon were under pressure for the next ten mins and a great save after 50 mins from Ciaran McCarthy was crucial.
Jordan McCabe after a pass by Eoin Nolan scored with an unstoppable shot after 60 mins to make it 3-1. Five mins later Denzil who had another excellent game completed his hat trick to put Bandon three up. The final goal came after 75 mins when Paul Lang crossed into the box and centre half and Captain James Kelleher was on hand to knock the ball home.
All players played well but those to note were Jack Kelly Eoin Hurley Eoin Nolan but Man Of The Match this week was Jordan McCabe.
