Bandon U14 boys played Fermoy last Saturday morning in the league. It was our 1st loss of the season in the league and with about 70% of the ball it was just not our day. But fair play to Fermoy, they put their chances away and we didn’t. We were 2 – 0 down at half time after a poor first half. We had a great start to the 2nd half when Adam Kelly scored 2 minutes in with a brilliant penalty. The lads pushed hard for rest of the game with man of the match Eric Claesson and Jack Cullinane leading by example. But Fermoy caught us on the break and scored a brilliant 3rd goal. Final score 1 – 3 .
