Youths 2-2 St. Mary’s (Bandon win 5-4 after penalties)
Huge win for U18 Youths against higher league opposition St Mary’s at home in the Youth League cup. Bandon started very well and took the lead on the 12th minute from captain Jake Lillis. Game was end to end for the rest of the first half. Mary’s scored from a penalty early in the second half to equalise.
End to end battle for the rest of the second half in a top class game from both sides. Almost on full time St Mary’s scored what looked like the winner, but with seconds left Bandon won a penalty which Finn Moroney scored.
So to penalties Which Bandon won.
