Bandon U13s continued their wining start to the season with a 7-1 victory over Ballinhassig. Bandon were on top form the start after coming close on few occasions they finally found the net after 13 mins when a corner from Darragh Hurley was volleyed to the back of the net by Gavin O’Connell. Bandon seemed to lose concentration after this and found themselves level again after 18 mins. This was a wake up call for Bandon who started to pile on the pressure again and were rewarded after 24 mins with a lucky o.g. Straight from the kick-off Brendan Harrington won the ball passed to James Campbell who played an early ball in which Gavin latched onto to score his second. Half time 3-1.
Bandon continued to pile on the pressure and 5 mins into the second half Gavin completed his hat-trick (second of the season) Further goals were added by James Campbell 50 mins, Robert O’Driscoll 55mins and Adam Mangan 57 mins. This was another good overall performance by the whole panel.
