Blarney 1-7 Bandon

Bandon U13s travelled to Blarney in search of their second win of the season and they got off to the perfect start. When after 10 minutes long ball from Robert O’Driscoll found Adam Mangan who played the ball through to Gavin O’Connell who finished into the corner. This lead did not last long when Blarney were awarded a penalty. Aaron Hutchinson got his hand to it and was unlucky not to save it. 10 minutes later Bandon regained the lead when James Campbell whipped in a corner which was met by Gavin O’Connell which brought a fine save from the Blarney keeper who failed to hold it the resulting ball fell to Adam Mangan who finished into the net.(Adam’s first goal for Bandon AFC) This fired Bandon into action, 2 minutes before half time Gavin added his second and Bandon’s third.(Half time 3-1).

Bandon started the second half as they finished the first and when Gavin scored his third and Bandon’s fourth the three points were secure. Further goals from Jack O’Donoghue, James Campbell and a fourth for Gavin. This was a great overall performance by the whole panel.
